The Reverend Ronald A. Brown, Senior Pastor

Pastor Ron Brown has been serving Hope Church since being called to the office of pastor in March 2003. He is a native of Southwestern Pennsylvania and has been a roistered pastor of the ELCA in the SWPA Synod since being ordained in 1999. Pastor Brown has a B.A. in Sociology from California University of PA and a M. Div from the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Gettysburg. He is an active member of our Synod serving as a Board Member for Lutheran SeniorLife, a member of the Synod Education Committee, and is the Synod Alumni Council Representative for the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Gettysburg.

C. John Thickey, Music Director

C. John Thickey has served as Director of Music Ministries and Organist at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church since September of 2000. He is a native western Pennsylvanian, and holds an undergraduate degree from Geneva College in Music Education and a Master of Music from Dana School of Music, School of Fine and Performing Arts, Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Thickey is an active member of the American Guild of Organist and a former Dean of the Pittsburgh Chapter. He holds the Colleague certificate (CAGO) from the AGO and served as a music specialist in the public school system from 1978 to 2006.

The Reverend Rich Leseganich, Associate Pastor

Pastor Leseganich began ministry at Hope Lutheran Church in December 2007 after having served two other congregations within the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod in both team and solo ministry settings. He received his BE.A. degree from Thiel College and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Pastor served a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at York Hospital with primary pastoral responsibility for patients in oncology, adolescent behavioral health, and trauma/surgical service lines. He was ordained into Word and Sacrament ministry in 2000.
