Julie Reges lives in Butler, Pa., with her husband of three years, Tim, and their 1-year-old son, Everett, and two pets. She is a new member of Hope and holds a newly created position at the church. Her goal as Wedding Coordinator is to help newly engaged couples by planning the wedding worship service here at Hope. She also assists the pastors and bridal party with the rehearsal and on the date of the nuptial service. She says her goal is to make sure that everyone involved in the wedding worship service has a stress-free experience. “All too often, I’ve heard brides say their wedding day was so busy they forgot to enjoy it … I hope that I can be the relief they need to enjoy the worship portion of their wedding day without worries!” Ms. Reges is a fourth grade teacher at Emily Brittain Elementary in the Butler Area School District. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pa.
Her favorite quote, which she says she tries to remind herself of often, is: “People may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
