Nancy Rose became a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church more than 30 years ago. She has served in many capacities over the years including as a member of Church Council, synod delegate, Sunday School teacher and music director, choir director, substitute organist and altar guild member. Currently, she serves as pianist for Hope's Saturday evening service. When Pastor Brobston initiated the service in 1995, Mrs. Rose volunteered to play, and she did this as a volunteer for many years as part of her stewardship at Hope. She now also serves as a member of the choir, assisting minister, lector, Sunday School teacher and a member of the Worship & Music Committee. Mrs. Rose notes that, although she has very little formal music training, “God
gave me a little talent and I have tried to use it to His glory all my life.” Favorite Scripture Passage: (Psalm 118:24) “This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
